AK Motorsport secure Class A Champion status
AK Motorsport race team have successfully raced their 1.4 MG ZR race car in the Drayton 
Manor MG Metro Cup Championship in the hand of race veteran Jonathan Agar, who has raced since 1995.
The 2009 season concluded with AK Motorsport securing Class A Champion status as well as finishing Runner up in the overall Championship to Andrew Ashton in his Rover Metro GTI in what was one of the closest Championship results ever. The season decider was at Snetterton in October where the result was a tie on points with the final result being decided on countback to who had the most 3rd places !
Both cars are equipped with the Polybush Orange “Dynamic “ Bush kits, Kit 88 in the case of the MG ZR and Kit 89 in the case of the Metro GTI. Polybush have become the preferred choice of the majority of the Metro GTI cars running in this championship having been developed 3 years ago by Polybush and AK Motorsport, the end results speak for themselves.
Such is the quality of the ride provided by these bushes that Jonathan drove his race car from Leeds, West Yorkshire to Hinkley, Leicestershire to collect his trophy!
