Bonaprene Products (Polybush's Parent Company) are looking for a part-time Company Accountant to work approximately 20 hours per week.



Based on the Wrexham site the Company accountant will work closely on a day to day basis with the Company Executive Directors. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for;

1. Monthly management accounts.

2. Annual budgets

3. The pension plans

4. Credit control and accounts payable

5. Payroll

6. Overseeing the Sage accounting system

7. Reconciliation of the Bank Accounts

8. Cash Flow Forecasting


And will be supported by and responsible for an existing competent part-time accounting assistant.

Bonaprene Products is financially independent with no borrowings and sound cash resources. Capital purchases are paid for in cash and we have an A1 Credit rating.

The Essentials for the role are:

The successful candidate needs to be a qualified accountant with 5 years’ experience of being responsible for a company’s accounts.

Reliability and discretion are of the utmost importance, yet one needs to be outgoing enough to work closely with other departments of the business.

Excellent computer skills are essential preferably with Sage and Excel.

Having experience working within a manufacturing environment would be desirable.


Working Conditions


Salary will be by negotiation depending upon the applicant’s hours and experience.

Salaries are paid monthly in the last week of the month.

Payment is direct into the employee’s account.

SSP is paid during sickness

Holidays All holidays and Bank Holidays are paid for and comply with the statutory requirement. Holidays must be kept back for shutdowns (1 week in May or 1 week in August plus 3-5 days at Christmas.)
