They are slightly firmer than the Comfort bushes, which improves handling and cornering response without sacrificing too much ride comfort. These bushes are ideal for drivers who enjoy a more engaging driving experience while still needing a level of comfort for daily use, whilst also being suitable for spirited driving & light track use.
Performance grade bushes are the stiffest of the three, designed for enthusiasts who demand the utmost in handling and control. They offer minimal deflection, enhancing vehicle response and stability during aggressive driving. These bushes are perfect for high-performance or track vehicles where precision and handling are critical. While they might sacrifice some ride comfort, they deliver superior driving dynamics and control, ideal for those who push their vehicle to its limits – Including Towing!

Citroen C4 Mk1 suspension bushes cover the 2004 to 2010 hatchback and coupe, including the VTS. Unlike the Picasso models built on the same platform, the C4 has no rear axle bush in the Polybush listing, so everything here happens at the front, where two bushes carry the whole job of locating the lower arm.
The front lower arm front and rear bushes take two different loads. The front bush handles lateral movement as the car turns, while the rear bush absorbs every braking input, and it is the rear one that usually fails first. The symptom is a C4 that pulls slightly as you brake and tramlines on a worn surface, with a knock from the front over sharp bumps. Because the steering still feels fine on a smooth road, owners often chase track rod ends or a worn strut mount before looking at the arm bushes themselves.
