RETURNS POLICY
- Your Cancellation Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel any distance purchase within 14 calendar days of the day after you (or a third party you nominate) receives the goods. This “cooling-off” period gives you the freedom to change your mind with no questions asked. - How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, simply let us know by sending a clear statement (e.g. an email or using our contact form) before the 14-day deadline. Please include:
- Your order number
- Date of order
- Which item(s) you wish to cancel
You don’t have to explain your reasons, but it helps us improve if you do!
- Returning Your Goods
- Timeframe: You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
- Condition: Parts must be in their original, unopened packaging and in “as-new” condition. You’re allowed to open packaging only to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.
- Cost of Return: Unless the item is faulty or we’ve agreed otherwise, you’re responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
Tip: Use a tracked service and keep your receipt – it avoids disputes, most couriers charge modestly for a small parcel.
- Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll issue a refund using your original payment method within 14 days. In practice:
- We refund the full price of the items.
- We do not refund the delivery charge you paid initially (if applicable).
- We do not refund any additional expenses incurred (e.g. Import duties)
- Exceptions to Cancellation Rights
Certain items are excluded from the 14-day right to cancel. These include:
- Custom or bespoke parts made to your specification (e.g. polyurethane bushes cut to a non-standard size, custom colours / hardnesses).
- Sealed goods which are unsealed after delivery, where re-sealing would be impractical or compromise hygiene/safety.
- Perishable items (if we should ever stock such consumables).
- Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Separately from cancellation rights, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to remedies if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose:
- Within 30 days of delivery, you can request a full refund if an item is defective.
- After 30 days, please contact us.
We aim to process faulty-goods refunds or replacements within 14 days of their receipt and the fault is confirmed. We cover all reasonable return postage costs.
- How to Report a Fault
Please email us using our contact form at or call +44 (0)1978 664316 with:
- Your order number
- Description of the fault (photos/videos help us diagnose quickly)
We’ll then confirm next steps.
