The Classic Motor Show 2024 was an unforgettable experience for us at Polybush. It wasn’t just about showcasing our products; it was about connecting with fellow enthusiasts, sharing stories, and celebrating the timeless beauty of the classic cars we all know and love. From the moment we set up our stand to the countless conversations we had over the weekend, one thing was clear – the passion for classic cars is as strong as ever!
Of all the vehicles we talked about at the show, the MG BGT stood out as the most popular topic of discussion. This iconic British sports car still has an extremely loyal following, and we were thrilled to share how Polybush helps keep these timeless machines running at their best. We offer a range of suspension bushes for the MG BGT, including our Comfort and Performance grades, ensuring that enthusiasts can choose the right balance of ride quality and handling for their needs.
For those looking for a step up from OEM without compromising on comfort, our trade partners at Rimmer Brothers offer Polybush bushes in our Dynamic grade. This OEM+ solution provides the perfect blend of precision and performance, giving your MG BGT that modern edge while retaining its classic charm.
This year, we were proud to have more of the Polybush team on-site to engage with visitors, answer questions, and share our passion for cars and engineering.
Kira, our Sales Admin, joined us for her first Classic Motor Show, and what a weekend it was for her!
Kira dove headfirst into the world of classic cars, learning about everything from the Jaguar E-Type to the Triumph TR6 and the mighty MG BGT . By the end of the show, she was talking suspension bushes like a seasoned pro!
Our Design Engineer, Greg, was also on hand to talk about how Polybush plays a key role in keeping classics on the road. Greg has been instrumental in developing products for vehicles where parts are no longer in production. From race cars to the everyday classics, his expertise ensures that enthusiasts have access to high-quality suspension solutions, even for the more obscure models. If you’re restoring a rare gem or need performance parts for a classic race vehicle, Greg and the team are always up to the challenge.
Justin, our Sales Representative, spent the weekend visiting our distribution partners to make sure they have everything they need to sell Polybush into their respective markets. Whether it’s providing sales support, product updates, or simply ensuring stock levels are right, Justin made sure our distributors were fully equipped to continue spreading the Polybush message. We want our partners to feel as confident selling our products as we are in making them.
And let’s not forget Ellis, our Marketing Specialist. Ellis was the driving force behind our entire presence at the show. From designing the stand to creating the videos and displays (with a helping hand from Greg), Ellis made sure every detail was perfect. The giveaways we had – from branded goodies to informative leaflets – were all meticulously crafted by Ellis to ensure that Polybush was memorable for everyone who stopped by.
As we reflect on the Classic Motor Show, we’re grateful for everyone who visited us. It was a weekend of learning, sharing, and celebrating, and it reminded us why we do what we do – keeping classics on the road with high-quality, durable, and reliable suspension solutions.
If you didn’t get a chance to visit us at the show, or enter our competition don’t worry, there’s always next year – We’re always here to help with any questions or advice on your next project. Whether you’re restoring a classic MG BGT, racing a Triumph Spitfire, or daily driving a vintage Land Rover, Polybush is committed to delivering products that stand the test of time.
A big thank you to each person who filled in our short survey, we announced our winner via social media – Congratulations Tony!
Here’s to another year of keeping classics thriving – we can’t wait to see what the next show brings!
