TDI North put the latest edition of polyurethane suspension bushes from Polybush for the Honda Civic Type R through its paces at Cadwell Park last night.
TDI North has been working with Polybush over the past twelve months to develop a dedicated tuned polyurethane suspension kit for the Civic Type R (EP3 and FN2) and yesterday was the final culmination of this hard work. See it here.
Neil from TDI North will be taking part in this years’ Time Attack series using TDI North’s Director Paul West’s 260 BHP Honda Civic Type R FN2 which has been fitted with the latest Polybush polyurethane suspension bushes. With the first series of Time Attack being held at Cadwell Park on the 5th of May, Neil took the opportunity last night to familiarise himself with Cadwell’s twisty, undulating and winding circuit ahead of the first event.
The nature of the Cadwell Circuit fondly nicknamed the mini Nurburgring, gave Polybush valued feedback on how our bush kit performed on a circuit that asks a lot of suspension and its bushes.
Neil provided very positive feedback saying “the front end felt planted on fast and slow corners with the car staying very flat when going through the undulations of the circuit”. TDI’s car was driven to and from the circuit, some 377 plus miles, with nothing but praise for the road manners and ride quality.

As part of our ongoing commitment to bush design and excellence, Polybush works closely with Glyndwr University on a daily basis, so it seemed only right to work with them on our latest project for Autosport 2012.
Performance Car Technology students from Glyndwr University took a standard road car and over the 4 days of the show will prepare the car for the 2012 Production GTI Championship.
Polybush are delighted to be supporting the Production GTI Championship for a second series and were so happy with the way last years series went we decided to take it one step further!
The Golf MK2 prepared live at the show will go on to be raced by the Glyndwr Students in the 2012 Championship proving that motor racing is a sport for all levels of experience and budgets.
With a full range of VW Polybush ready and waiting to be fitted and a range of parts from kind sponsors Safety Devices, Fast Road Conversions, Corbeau, Luke, Saxon Motorsport, Hel, Spax & Demon Tweeks along with many others we are ready and waiting to go, so make sure to visit us on stand 7100 and watch the transformation live at the show.
Polybush recently visited the NEC in Birmingham for Practical classics second-ever restoration show.
As we set up our stand we are stricken by one thing overall, this is a lot of space for a show that is only in its second year of existence (we hope they can fill it). The stand goes up with ease and with only the one stand issue (at every set up you must have at least one). This is the show we want to use as an experiment in trying out our new, improved website as a catalogue system, instead of those giant red binders you’ve no doubt seen us carrying.
Saturday morning the doors open and we are astonished by the sheer amount of people at a show that is still in its infancy; though we should have expected it, this is, after all, a show by Practical classics. One of our very favourite magazines, the calibre of the visitors is just as impressive all seem to have a real knowledge of classic cars and restorations, with a determination to get the very best parts for their projects (that’s why they come to us!). We answer hundreds of questions about the benefits of Polybush and what ranges we cover (the website helps) and love every second.
In the rare quiet moments (usually brought on by a show on one of the live stages) we do manage to sneak off and wander around the show, the exhibits are amazingly diverse, from live restoration workshops to one of the most well put together auto jumbles we’ve seen. Our favourite attraction we don’t even have to leave our stand to see as Polybush is right next to the barn find, displaying some truly rare finds in all manners of condition and all spectacular to see up close.
Despite the range of exhibits and amazing cars we got to see; our favourite part as with all shows was connecting with our customers in person and getting real feedback which couldn’t have been nicer (that may have been the free sweets we were giving away though). Thank you so much for coming down we hope you had as great a time as we did, and we hope to see you all again soon.
A cost-effective, longer-lasting, higher-performing alternative to the other Fiesta bushes on the market.
Polybush is pleased to announce the long-awaited Fiesta range to our already extensive catalogue. The Ford Fiesta is another car from Ford that has proven it can stand the test of time and shows no signs of going anywhere, it was with this in mind that Polybush started designing truly special bush kits not just for the current generation but for a range of Fiestas throughout the years. Whether you’re looking to maintain a modern classic like the mk4 or improve the performance of the already high performing Mk7 ST Polybush have got you covered.
We cover full kits for the Mk4, Mk5, Mk6, Mk7 or Mk7 ST although very different each kit offers some things as standard across not only the range but Polybush products as a whole: Polybush can offer you a running life of 4/5 times longer than standard rubber OE bushes.
Due to the material polybushes are made of they are not affected by road contaminants or compression set in the same way that rubber is, so we make sure your car runs as it should for a lot longer.
Polybush has worked at solving the common problems associated with Fiestas. The main problem found during research was the Fiesta bushes being too soft resulting in a handling delay, Polybush solves this problem allowing for sharp handling that feels instantly responsive without negatively affecting ride comfort.
Each bush has gone through painstaking design to make sure that they not only fit perfectly but also to ensure that every opportunity has been taken to improve the vehicle. The immediate difference felt when Polybush is installed is undeniable.
So whether you are trying to get the best performance possible from your Fiesta or Increase the life cycle of problem bushes to save you money and reduce MOT failures, Polybush is for you.
A great 25th year of Billing and Polybush were there to see what unfolded and build a Land Rover while were at it.
Polybush has always enjoyed Billing, as you can probably tell by the fact we have been attending for over a decade. Every year Polybush receive an amazing reception to our live restorations and every year Billing outdoes itself with its scale and spectacle.
This year was no different Polybush arrived at Billing to the best weather we have seen at one of these shows and already crowds were forming it was obvious from day one that this show was going to be special, as well it should be it was of course the 25th year of Billing.
This was a truly special event unlike any we have attended before, the highlight was the live arena, every year this is the place to be its never dull and something is always happening, this year blew past years out of the water though. From the winch trial competitions to the mini replica parade this was Land Rover at its finest.
Polybush went a slightly different route than usual on our restoration this year in celebration of 25 years of Billing we didn’t just want to make a Land Rover we wanted to make something else that was just as timeless and useful; a collection of videos that showed the average user how to do maintenance and building work on a Land Rover as well as filmed segments that answer the questions we get at Polybush all the time to help better serve our amazing customers. To do this we enlisted the help of the TV show Landrovers Live.
This was the first time Landrovers live had put a live restoration together especially one on such a big stage as the Billing anniversary proved to be, but they held it together and we came away having answered some questions to the public there as well as some amazing videos that will answer the questions for many more people out there.
And with that, we put an end to an amazing Land Rover show season
Peterborough 2015 was an amazing experience as exhibitors, sponsors and enthusiasts we couldn’t have had a better time.
The Manic Mechanics tackled a 109 in an ambitious build involving fully stripping and rebuilding the axles with all new components, taking out the engine and gearbox and detailing both and the installation of a brand new set of brake pipes, and of course a full set of Polybush, all of this over the space of a weekend. They did an amazing job, and we owe them a big thank you for putting on a show that really had something for everyone.
Once again the live stage proved to be amazing (we had a great view), it was fantastic being able to see all these amazing machines performing feats that other vehicles just wouldn’t stand up to.
Thank you for a great show and we will see you next year.
As the last of the L322’s reach the end of their warranty there has never been a better time to fit long-lasting, cost saving, high performing parts; and that’s exactly what Polybush offer.
Why spend thousands on new tyres when prolonged suspension alignment from Polybush can significantly reduce tyre scrub making your tyres last longer. Polybush won’t suffer from compression set like O.E. rubber bushes lasting up to five times longer; this added longevity saves you money.
With larger rim diameters to contend with, the suspension on the L322 can have an uncomfortably firm ride so Polybush has manufactured kit 158 in their dynamic grade designed to absorb harsh ride qualities whilst still maintaining excellent on and off-road suspension performance.
Incredible Resilience, Longevity, and Cost Savings for Your Mercedes Sprinter Fleet
If you manage a Mercedes Sprinter fleet, you know the importance of durability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Our Polybush polyurethane bushes are engineered to meet the demanding challenges that rubber parts simply can’t handle, making them the ideal choice for your Sprinter vans & minibuses. Just as the Sprinter excels at tasks that other vehicles can’t achieve, Polybush products are designed to outperform traditional rubber bushes in every way.

Why Choose Polybush Over Rubber?
1. Superior Durability:
Rubber bushes are prone to wear and tear, especially under the heavy loads and uneven terrain that Sprinter vans often encounter. Polybush bushes, on the other hand, are incredibly resilient, typically lasting 4 to 5 times longer than OE rubber bushes. This means less frequent replacements and more time keeping your Sprinters on the road.
2. Cost Savings:
Frequent replacements of worn-out rubber bushes can be costly, not to mention the downtime associated with these repairs. By switching to Polybush, you can significantly reduce maintenance costs and keep your fleet operational for longer periods.
3. Maintains Alignment and Tyre Longevity:
Polyurethane bushes maintain vehicle alignment far better than rubber. This helps to reduce tyre wear, ensuring your tyres last longer and provide better performance. Proper alignment also enhances overall vehicle handling, providing a safer and more comfortable ride.
The Problem with Rubber Bushes
Rubber bushes, while standard in many vehicles, are not ideal for the rigorous demands of a Mercedes Sprinter. These bushes often fail, leading to noise, poor handling, and potential damage to metal mating components like the anti-roll bar. This not only results in expensive replacements but also increased downtime, which is a significant inconvenience for any fleet manager.
Polybush: The Perfect Partner for Your Mercedes Sprinter
Our Polybush products are specifically designed to address these issues:
Anti-Roll Bar Bushes:
One of the most common problems Sprinter owners face is the failure of anti-roll bar bushes. Our polyurethane anti-roll bar clamp and link bushes are built to withstand the heavy loads and rough terrain that Sprinters frequently encounter. Unlike rubber, our bushes won’t deteriorate under pressure, keeping your anti-roll bar intact and your vehicle stable.
Comfort Comparable to OEM
You might be concerned that switching from rubber to polyurethane might compromise ride comfort. However, Polybush bushes are engineered to provide a ride quality that is as comfortable as OEM rubber bushes. You get all the benefits of enhanced durability and performance without sacrificing comfort.
Why Polybush is the Best Choice for Your Mercedes Sprinter Fleet
When you choose Polybush, you’re investing in a product that will keep your fleet running smoothly and efficiently. Our bushes are designed to handle the unique challenges that Sprinters face, ensuring your vehicles remain reliable and cost-effective over the long term
Make the switch to Polybush today and experience the difference in performance, durability, and cost savings for your Mercedes Sprinter fleet.
Polybushes are made to meet the challenges rubber parts can’t, the same way that Sprinter’s excel at tasks that other vehicles simply can’t achieve, making them the perfect partners.
Polybush has manufactured bushes that combat a source of constant frustration for Sprinter owners; the anti-roll bar. The standard “white van” is a workhorse put under constant extra pressure by design. Polybush can put up with the strain of heavy loads and uneven/rough terrain, typically lasting 4/5 times longer than OE bushes and keeping your Sprinter off the ramp and on the road; where it belongs. Polybush has specially designed these bushes with the many applications these vehicles offer in mind, making sure that the bushes will put up with anything your Sprinter can.
The Sprinter’s Anti Rollbar bushes are seen as problem bushes, often failing causing noise and damage to metal mating components such as the anti-roll bar itself, this leads to costly replacements and downtime. Polybush’s ARB clamp and link bushes won’t fail like the rubber alternatives, keeping your sprinter on the road for up to five times longer.
