Why should you fit Polybushes to your VW T5 or T6?
As a VW T5 or T6 owner, you might have noticed some issues with the front lower wishbone bushings, these bushings are designed to cushion the movement of the wishbone and keep it in place, but they can wear out over time, causing excessive movement and even leading to handling problems.
One solution to this problem is to switch to the 44EA & 44EC which offer several benefits over O.E rubber, so why should you fit Polybushes to your VW T5 or T6?
Improved Handling and Steering Response
Polybushes can better resist the forces generated during hard cornering and braking.
As a result, they offer improved handling and steering response, making your VW T5 or T6 feel more connected to the road – You’ll notice that your vehicle feels more stable and planted, especially when driving on twisty roads or at high speeds.
Reduced Vibration and Noise
Rubber bushings have a tendency to deform and compress over time, which can also lead to excessive movement and noise.
Polybushes, on the other hand, do not suffer from compression set, which means that they can maintain their shape and function over a longer period of time. As a result, your alignment will not go out of line, increasing tyre life and reducing vibration and noise
Increased Durability and Longevity
Polybushes are also more durable and long-lasting than rubber bushings, lasting 4-5 times longer than rubber, they are less prone to wear and tear, especially from the likes of oil, fuel & road contaminants meaning that they can last for several years without needing to be replaced.
This can save you money in the long run, as you won’t have to replace your bushings as often as you would with OEM rubber bushings.
Another benefit of Polybush is that our products are easy to install.
You don’t need any special tools or equipment to install them and the whole process can be completed in just a few hours.
The video below demonstrates that once the O.E bushes have been removed, the installation process is exceptionally quick.
